Liri - those are beautiful photographs - you should put them on the camera thread too. Your camera picks those droplets up so perfectly. Great time of year for that kind of pic too.
Ain't nature grand?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Wow. Those Are Dahlias! Hope your OH is pleased, Chrissy.
Thanks for the lovely comments about the pearly pics. Yes, nature IS grand, Fairy... couldn't have designed it better myself.
I'm really pleased with this phone camera. I chose the phone because the camera was well reviewed, but hadn't anticipated I'd use it all the time - it has limitations, of course, but the main advantage is that it's always in my pocket for the "take it now" sort of photo.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Wow Liri, you could frame and hang those!
My comparatively banal close ups -
Ageratum 'Blue Horizon' and Cuphea cyanea
Persicaria a. 'Fat Domino' and Verbena bonariensis
Geranium 'Ann Thomson' - still going strong since starting in late May!
Liri, beautiful autumnal pics.
WillDB, love the blue of the ageratum.
My OH wanted me to grow Dahlias so he got Dahlias -----

Very nice dalhia's Chrissy
Lovely pics will Liri and WillDB.
Got some pic of the butterfly's on the Eupatorium and Buddelia
Smashing pictures everyone!
Toad Lily (Tricyrtis hirta) starting to come out. One, of many, plants which I have to keep in a pot to halt slug attack!
Another Japanese plant (I have a bit of a theme in my planting!) - Japanese forest grass, looking good this time of year.

Yesterday, chappy came to see to 2 old, sick ash trees:-
which has left us lots of firewood and mulching material to chop up
and he tidied up 2 more healthy ones over by the pond.
It'll all keep OH busy till we get some rain.
Gorgeous pictures everyone! Those are outstanding dahlias Chrissie! And now I know that mine is Paintball
Perkins, love your butterfly picture! They look very happy!
