Imagine having that many ovaries... a hormonal nightmare! Hehe.

First year growing Aliums - pleased so far. I have under-planted (sown) with wildflowers but they haven't surfaced yet. My idea is to have the wild flowers beneath and leave the Alium heads to seed/dry.

Yes thanks Hazel. Going ok apart from the flu injection today and now I'm ready for bed.

ive started winding up the hoses and changing outside plants for inside plants in the GH. We've got another minus 4 c predicted overnight. The days are good though.

Showered and in bed - not before time, its 1.30am, but we've been watching Eurovision. We have a young aboriginal fellow representing us. We followed him last year on our Voice contest which he won. He's a nice young man, only 16 I think, from a small town in NSW.

Anyway, can't stay awake much longer" night night,

I've just missed you Pat - was it me you were asking about a carnation? I have some Dianthus which are shocking pink. One was in the pic of the columbine. There's a couple of flowers showing on them now - very early - so hopefully they'll look like this soon  image

Yes Liri - the basket was to protect the Dicentra.

I've got a few (new) alliums starting to flower, so I'll get a few pix of them soon.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I might try an upturned hanging basket over a clump of lemon balm which the neighbours' cats have started using as a comfy seat... thanks for the tip, Fairy.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
