Oh how I love sweet peas - they are gorgeous, and I have grown them in the past - but they don't agree with me - sneezing every time I pass too close to them. So I can admire your selection Papi Jo without the dreaded sneezes.
Thanks for the name of my poppy, it really cheered me up to see the flower in my "wild flower" area. It was quite the star of the show last week.
Yes, the stream does run into the pond - but the pond is rather a taboo subject at the moment with the high PH which is killing off the water plants.
GD2 Sorry to hear about the ph problems with the pond, especially as it looks so good. You asked me a question a while back re the names of the roses I posted. Sorry it's taken a while but I have not been around. The names are as follows top to bottom.
Golden Beauty
Mortimer Sackler
Gertrude Jekyll
Munstead Wood
For your eyes only
No idea I inherited it (that's a statement not a name)
@Lily Pilly, glad you liked my "colour balance fix". Smartphones are not that good at colour balance. I can't take photos with my "dumb phone", so I take them with a real 'old school' camera. Can't phone with my camera however.

Lilyp, I can just imagine the perfume! Your vase photos look really good.
GD "I am not sure of the poppies name, but the flower only lasted a day."
Maybe Papaver ephemera.
Whatever it's called, what a glorious flower, even for a single day, it's worth it. Of course one must not be away on holiday on that day.

Beautiful pic from everyone...........Barefoot gardener, I love the gargoyle on the wooden post.
@Lily Pilly,
I've tried to restore a more "natural" colour balance to your lovely bouquet of sweet peas. Hope you don't mind.

Hi GD2,
Sweet peas not mine but Lily Pilly's own. I only re-posted her photo with a more natural colour balance.
Don't know the real name of your poppy; I just made up a fancy name based on the ephemeral nature of the flowers!
Papa Joe. Thank you, photo taken on my phone late
A A Milne
Hi all,
For anyone interested in the names of the plants in my East mixed border I posted 3 days ago, I've put that pic again with clickable pins for names. On my garden site at http://www.rezeau.org/wp-garden/en/page-mixed-border-east-june-2017/
