@ Obelixx - I had a really amazing response from people, and after a short while I had inquiries to see if I could come and do something similar for local residents in their own back gardens etc, transform an unloved patch into something beautiful - after a few months, through word of mouth and recommendations, I had enough clients to turn it into an actual business.
so now im a gardener yay!!!

The moss has grown over the little tree stump in here by the pond. The hedgehog isn't real...
Cutting back scraggy phormium leaves, but this one had to wait
The wood was nice and warm, or so the pigeon thought! He was very happy sitting there
Clematis alpina Constance flowering much earlier than usual
so the bee was happy
Very early - Narcissus Silver Chimes, flowering with new addition, species tulip Turkestanica
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
