Wow, that clem is amazing Dove!

I like the succulent table too, and not just for the cool assortment of plants and containers, I really like the table.

Weather has bashed things around again but here are a few bits...

Stump border. I'm moving that comfrey, you can't really get a sense here of its flailing limbs...

Love that mix in your triangle bed Victoriaimage

My Clem should be climbing the trellis and along the wires around the window, but as I've not been out there much cos of my foot it made up it's own mind about where if was going this year, and I think it knew best image

I only did the table this year. I will move it to a more sheltered position in the winter so the succulents don't sit in rain to much. Now it sit in direct sunlight all day which the plants seem to love.

victoriaI made the table myself. Won the base on ebay for a fiver. It is cast iron so heavy and collection only so I got a bargain. The top I made out of marble that someone was throwing away at my local dump. He gave it to me instead and I cut it to size and fixed it with silicone sealant. So the whole table cost me a fiver and a couple of hours work. I want to give the legs a coat of black enamel paint but I will wait to do that in the autum.

Thanks Doveimage Plus regarding the clem, the flower colour goes really well with the trellis paint and it might not be seen otherwise!

Good work, Sussexsun, I'm impressed and for only £5, I'd be happy to have it in the houseimage

Great upcycling job Sussexsun.........isn't it amazing the stuff some people want rid of can be so useful to others, never ceases to amaze me.

What is the name of that lovely shrub behind the yellow flowers?  It's a lovely looking speciman.
