Beautiful edges Lizzie - the 1973 shears are obviously still in fine fettleimage. Your beds are looking lovely - hope your open day is a roaring successimage

Thank you. By August many of the blues and pinks will have faded away. Heleniums, coreopsis, rudbeckias and heliopsis are starting to come out. And dahlias, of course, they are late this year as they got frosted in the spring.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Patio pots: a couple of old chimney pots, broken watering can and a few others. Scented Pelargoniums, Cosmos, Agapanthas (in bud) and Dianthus.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

The garden's a bit straggly, what with my foot and the downpours, but I took a few pics in the front garden this morning ...

Lovely, Dove!  That Roscoea is pretty; I'm quite tempted... but do slugs love them?

Nothing seems to eat roscoeas Liri - and they're tough as old boots. I've got R. Kew Beauty in a pot. It stays out all winter and every year it seems to take for ever to appear, and then suddenly there it is, blooming its socks off image

Loving the succulents table, do you leave them out all year round?
