Barefootgardener,    Gorgeous.  Lots of watering for you but well worth it.

Love pic of the bee and lupin and your delphiniums are superb.

So many photos to catch up on - I can't remember who posted what, Barefoot, your garden is beautiful and so colourful. Your verbascums are amazing, wish mine looked like that!

Are you having another open day this year BL? (from Joyce's comment) if so, the best of luck hope it goes well.

Lucky you, Zenjeff, having rain. 34° here yesterday, 35° forecast for today. I hope I have a garden left for my Open Day!

Yes, Victoria, on the 9th July. But still a lot of weeding to do and all the beds need edging. The lawn is a lost cause in the Dordogne climate. I had a very painful trapped nerve last week, Doc says I have arthritis and I'm overdoing it. X Rays today.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good luck Bl, Im sure your skills will keep the garden looking fantastic well beyond the open day. Not sure the arthritis would agree though, hope you get sorted.

That's tough, BL.  As others have said - hope you get some relief soon, and can get back to (gentle) gardening.  Can you get help with heavy jobs?

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
