It has been a beautiful day today. I have been madly potting on some of my seedlings and then planting lots more as well. And taking the time to stop and see the beautiful colours that are springing to life as the warmth of the sun shines down on them. Like the picture shows "I do love my garden".
The grumpy anti-social abandoned cat that we adopted finally turned into a cuddly but grumpy cat only to die of cancer in October. We've now adopted 2 kittens form the local SOS place and, after one or two hiccups on the way, now play nicely with the two dogs. Great fun.
Jacqueline - that camellia is sumptuous. Mine from a local plant fair in October has no buds at all so I shall have to wait another year.

I did a lasagne planter (where you layer bulbs on top of each other in layers of increasing size of bulb). I put some small Glory of the Snow ... and some others I've forgotten then topped them off with winter violets.
The violets have flowered all winter and done me proud. One of the bulbs which may be a tulip is throwing up massive leaves and spoiling the show a bit but the Glory of the Snow peeped their heads out today.
Took the pic when I got home from work so it's a bit dark. Pleased to see them and it's all an experiment isn't it and when I empty the pot, I can chuck the bulbs out in the garden somewhere.

@Obelixx. No, that was Ben. Jemma, the female, now sleeps in the house from first thing until late evening.
Has she calmed down Berghill?
