BL- perhaps you could post the pix, then go back in right away and edit just with a basic list after you can see the order they've come out? Bit of a faff though. I use a laptop and it can be a bit of a trial sorting photos, but I know some other devices don't seem to work as well as they should on this site. Lovely set of photos as always though
Michael - I don't really like roses, but that's gorgeous. Looking forward to more pix of your plot
Always a delight looking on this thread - thanks to everyone for posting on it.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
One of my £1.69 clematis, bought from Morrisons last year and grown on in a pot until this spring, has produced a flower. Very subtle! It's 'Guernsey Cream'.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Lovely clematis Liri although I am biased. It was grown and named by Raymond Evison from Montrose nursery here in Guernsey. Unfortunately most of his clematis are over £10.00 each here, which is why I buy his plugs through GW offers.

I've tried that Liri, but the photos always end up together and my writing goes on the bottom.
The pink clematis is Dr Ruppel. The pink rose is A Shropshire Lad and the red rose is Paul's Scarlet Climber.

I like your GC clematis Liri. Is it growing in some shade?
Lovely Liri. I've had my eye on that one as well.

The green on the petals is similar to Miss Bateman.
It's in total shade, Joyce - at the bottom of a 15ft NE-facing wall.
Your garden must be full of clematis, Fairy. I keep finding more shrubs for new ones to climb through...
Ideal for me Liri
