I forgot to make my order yesterday, so was about to make the order now when T&M sent an email offer of 30 tubers for 14.99 + free P&P!

Honestly, I prefer the Sarah Raven ones (even though there would be 4 and not 30), and I can't fit that many in my garden anyway. But the T&M ones are supposed to have upright and strong growth and require no staking, which is a plus point for me.

I have ordered dahlias from Farmer Gracie's but not due to be delivered until first week in March

  • I haven't had my order from Peter Nyssen yet but not worried tbh as long as they turn up in the next 2-3 weeks.

I've also yesterday gone and ordered a couple of ferns, salvia amistad and a rhubarb 'strawberry' crown from Crocus.  Random.

Planning on indulging next time we visit Longacres Bagshot, I haven't brought much this year technically image They have their 9cm pot perennials back in stock so that's where I'll head. I may even order some for store collection online, very cheap and varied compared to Wyevale etc. I have my eye on some hardy geraniums for near the trees and shade lovers. Also, for those of you interested from a far they also post - http://www.longacres.co.uk/plants/perennials/9cm-pot-perennials/

Well, I succumbed to an email from T&M for blue poppies. I turned all my Tesco vouchers into  T&M vouchers. Only trouble, when I ordered, they seem to have changed the rules. You cant use Tesco boost T&M vouchers on special offers.  So I didn't order the blue poppies as a present for my sister in law, and I now have £75 worth of T &M vouchers to use on full priced stuff. imageimage

Have placed quite a few orders.  Ordered my Dahlias from  National Dahlia Collection. Park Princess, Jescot Julie, Prizessin Irene Von Preussen, Ambition and Gerrie Hoek. £2.30 each but delivery is steep at £8.99.

Also ordered Nemesia Poetry and Verbena Rose White (plugs) from Suttons

Verbena Lanai Blue Denim and Bright Pink (plugs) from Mount Folly

Begonia Truffle Cream and Pelargoniums Grandeur Velvet (plugs) from Unwins

20 coleus plug plants from Brookside Nursery

Petunia Shock Wave Sparked mixed (plugs) from Fothergills

    and Hellebore 'Evolution' from Ashwoods.

I'm planning to grow Black Eyed Susan Sunset, Snapdraggon Twinny Rose, Lobelia Cascade, Diascia Rose Queen and Lupin Fairy from seed.

Trying hard not to look at any more catalogues but don't think I'll last.
