Yes I buy new bulbs each year from Bloms Bulbs whom I find have the biggest bulbs. Then i plant them out in the garden when I need the pots for summer bedding, so I have lots more coming into flower now in the borders. The ones for early indoor flowering I had are almost ready to come out of their pots and be planted in the garden too. I am a bit of a hyacinth freak
Yes GWRS, icy here too despite the brilliant sunshine. I needed my gardening coat this morning and will don it again soon to go and plant some 2nd early potatoes. Onion planting next as i have just had an email to say they are on their way.
Lovely drippy flowers Marion... hoping the rain will stop soon, and I'll be able to have a look for treasures in my own garden. Last week I found this:
- it's a Soldanella, but I can't now remember which one - planted 5 or 6 years ago, and this is its first flower.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Hello , yes raining hear , looks like it is in for the day
Had a good day at allotment yesterday
Rain stopped at 4 and sun came out. Blue skies everywhere now and i got some work done in the garden. Hooray!
Marion, we will be calling you Hyacinth Bouquet shortly! You have had pots of them in all colours. Beautiful.
Do you plant new outdoor ones every year in the pots? I have had some in the ground for a few years but they are diminishing.
Your "friend with the small garden" has beautiful window boxes with the tulips ready to join the hyacinths.
