Thankyou Marion, wait until they are full of soil and grass cuttings ?.

your garden is looking lovely Marion, I love that little cottage in plant pot ? I would love to just sit in those chairs on a summers day reading a book, keep up the good work. Glad your electrics are ok, better to be safe.

Sounds like you have a lot of hard work to do. Take care when uncovering those terraces! I hope you've got someone to help. Looking forward to progress pictures.

Oh gosh we are not so lucky wth the weather as you are GWRS - coldest day of the winter at -3 degrees this morning and only forecast to reach +3 in the late afternoon so no gardening for me today but it is twelth night so will gather up the Xmas cards and get out the duster.  Dusting to dance music should warm me up.

Beautiful sunny day but too cold for me to venture out so sent off for my seed order so not feeling the day has been a waste altogether!  Rain forecast for tomorrow too.

Warmer this morning at 3 degrees already but rain forecast for about 2pm so will try to get some gardening done late morning.  GWRS I ordered my seed potatoes and banana shallots yesterday online.  I will saving my egg boxes from now on for chitting!  I dust and vacuum to dance music and dance while I work!  I tend to do the same up and down the garden when the spring arrives and I am not wearing so much outer clothing to keep me warm which can be a hindrance.  I suspect it is a hangover from the war years and "whistle while you work!"Or perhaps from early radio and "It's being so cheerful that keeps me going"!  Whatever. it works.

I have been totally thwarted by the weather Marion.  The ground has been frozen and today it's raining.

i still have leaves to remove from some of the hellebores which are in bud.

Hope the weather is suitable at the weekend for your terrace clearing.
