Wow, Verdun I have not been so lucky but I do spend all my smaller winnings on the garden and it mounts up over the years. It has rained since noon but I did take out my camera, shielded it with my raincoat to get pictures of my daffs which are all over the garden - native Welsh, Tete a tete. Hawera. Minnow among them.I have lovely large flowers on my primulas this year.
A bit brighter out now but has been a wet night and more heavy rain forecast for the afternoon. I think gardenng in the conservatory today might be sensible specially as high winds are forecast too. There may be more tree branches ready to fall.
Oh TY Flumpy I had forgotten about my forsythia. just been up to look and buds bursting open. I will replace my Valentine's Day flowers with a big bunch of forsythia next week some time as they won't last much longer. next week!
It rained all afternoon but Son no2 arrived with some of his film collection and i chose "The Revenant" to watch. what a film! It is going to be a bit colder again tomorrow too.as well as wet!!!

Flumpy, one of mine is starting to open.
Vile weather yesterday and today with a Yellow wind warning for our area until 6pm tomorrow.
Will need to wear a hooded jacket to go out to feed the birds.
Wish I could share your climate, Verdun!
But my first daffodil started opening this morning (a Tete a Tete).
