Further back in time for dinner.  I'm enjoying the new series as much as the first.

Series one was a nice bit of nostalgia, sparking memories of childhood and youth.  Probably a similar experience for the parents of the Robshaw family.

It was lovely to see Debbie escape the kitchen in this weeks episode.  We were cheering when we saw the happy smile on her face in the fields working at the farmimage. I hope they continue to follow her story away from the family.

The family seem to be missing her presence in the house now that mother is cooking again. I did feel a bit sorry for her at the breakfast scene with the badly poached eggs. She's said she doesn't normally cook for the family in 'real life', hubby does it all.  He seems to be relishing his role in this eraimage. I never knew that there were so many German restaurants before the war, and the beer steins were hugeimage

Looking forward to the 1920's next week.

I agree with the first bit. As hubby would say, there is a on and off button.

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a few days, had a bladder infection.just got my appetite back. Must have come out in sympathy with bracken.

Watched further back in time last night. It was good.

I'm still loving Taboo and the more Tom Hardy gets naked, the happier I am.

Silent Witness!!!!!! What a pile of plap it has become. Last night's was the most ridiculous yet. So a foreign national just happens to get an appointment to see the head of police, visit a prisoner in his cell with no supervision or accompanying police and then administer drugs to prisoner? Of course it would happen.
