     Yes, we enjoyed it too.

We didn't watch Taboo, but the point of real fairy tales is that they are very dark indeed ... or they were before their Disneyfication.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Has anyone watched. Incredible Medicine: Dr Weston's Casebook on bbc2?

Glad that your still watching the midwife Aym. I've just watched Incredible Medicine on I player because I didn't watch the first. It was about a person who had a condition and it was only them who had it and how it happened.I don't think I'll watch the next one.

Aym, they follow real life, not fiction.image

    TONIGHT

Bbc4 Repeat.9.00pm Better than the original: the joy of the cover version. Ten stories of cover songs. Didn't see the first one.

Bbc4 New 10.00pm Ultimate Covers at the BBC. Footage from the Moody blues,Soft cell, Alexandra Burk, Mariah carey and In 40.

Bbc4 ... S ings the Beatles. People who have done cover versions of the fab four. Repeat. But didn't see the first time. It's got the Carpenters in it so I'm interested.

Watched all the bbc4 programmes, recorded from last night. Never knew that artists did so many covers of songs.

Tomorrow night, top gear starts on bbc2. It might be better this time with out ginger.image

My selection of programme I am watching

SSGB is a very good thought provoking series on how it could have been if the incredible efforts of the pilot who challenged the aggressive Luftwafa had not happened.

The Replacement - about a succesful female architect who falls pregnant and her employer brings in another female architect to replace her when she goes on maternity leave. Very sinister.

The Good Karma Hospital was produced in Sri Lanka and I just love the scenes of the beaches and coast line. It reminds me of my recent Caribean cruise I took. What I would do to have some of that warm, sultry weather in my garden now ???
