    Busy-Lizzie says:

Loved Call the Midwife, not just babies either, mental health and dentistry too.

We watched SS-GB. I agree about the mumbling, at least 2 of the actors had husky, whispery voices. I found it rather depressing, but, after we turned the volume up, OH seemed to like it. The actor in Hotel Halcyon has a soft whispery voice too.

Sorry BL, didn't read your post. I watched some of SS-GB. I could hear what they were saying, but didn't like it.

Just watched the secrets of your food. It's very good. It's repeated again on Monday night still on BBC 2.What about the people who eat rice as their main food? Like in the Philippines.

Aym, glad that you like trust me I'm a doctor. Wish they did more episodes.image

Hazel, I've loved Taboo and the final episode didn't disappoint.

Clearly not enough nudity throughout, but we can't have everything.

    Devon.

Aym, never heard of the kefir test. Those sort of programmes I find it hard to stay awake.

Watched call the midwife last night, it was good how they covered the FGM.

Just watched the last in series of Further Back In Time For Dinner - an excellent programme that makes me appreciate how lucky I am to have such a variety to eat. The supermarket has become an extension of our pantry in the 21st century - are we lucky or lazy? I cannot imagine that people today would cope or tolerate with rationing or being fined for wasting food!

My garden and I live in South Wales.
