That's good, if you could watch this first it will explain a few things. It was on Sunday 15th, Bbc1 5.05pm. Call the midwife: the case book. It tells the history of midwifery
Edible Garden on a sunday morning or on your iplayer. I can't remember the young ladys name, but she is so enthusiastic and inventive in her victorian terrace back garden ?
Bbc2,9.00pm new. Further back in time for dinner. At the turn of the 20th century. Learn how the food we ate shaped the modern family. I've watched the others, very good.
People have been talking about it on other threads, like Resurrected and Hello Forkers.
I thought it was rather slow, lots of "bonking", for want of a better word, in broom cupboards and alleyways, between a middle aged couple, married but not to each other.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Aym, glad you watched call the midwife. They don't go into all the details.
Loana, the young lady in the edible garden is Alyse Fowler.

Did anybody watch apple tree yard? The ratings wasn't very good. Haven't watched it yet, wonder if it's worth it.

we watched it, but won't bother with the next 3 episodes. Decided we didn't really warm to the characters, nor see how it pans out.
My daughter has recommended "Taboo" . Has anyone been watching it ? before we delve into "catch up"?
Winter watch on again tonight
Busy-lizzie and hosta, thanks I won't bother with it.
