Won't be watching Troy.  The author made a right pig's ear of Night Manager making all sorts of unnecessary and stupid changes to the original plot so heaven knows what he'll do with Troy.

Haven't seen Marcella before but it's set to record, as is Shetland, just in case.

That Monty series is a repeat anyway so likely to pop up haphazardly when they have a wee hole in their schedules - not, I would think in Olympics time.

ahhhh. I must have accidentally caught an episode I had never seen and thought it was a new series. Ah well, that’s good I suppose.

Can someone explain what happened with the latest Monty series big dreams small spaces? I was on holiday missed the first once, caught episode 2. Then no more seemed to be shown. I thought they normally came in sets of 6 episodes, did I manage to miss 5?!? I really like It so hope it’s repeated soon.

    See original post

They should come back after the Winter Olympics.

The Monty programme was on nearly every day for about 2 weeks, I think. OH got fed up with it so I only watched a few, but it didn't matter as I'd seen them all already, repeats.

I've got them all recorded.Yes they repeated big dreams small spaces because there's a new series coming up in march. Also Gardener's world will start next month.

I have been watching the latest 'Life and Death Row' series on iPlayer this week - a fascinating, disturbing and thought-provoking programme about eight men awaiting execution in Arkansas in 2017. I still have questions, concerns and disbeliefs about the whole system. Not a relaxing choice, but if you find law and ethics interesting (and can stomach murder details) then I recommend.

There's a EastEnders on tonight instead of Friday.

Has anyone watched Troy last Saturday? The review wasn't very good.

    Didn’t fancy that Troy.

been watching Secret Life of Owls, I could have killed that squirrel taking over the nest box, owls are rare enough these days without the dreaded tree rats killing them? I really shouldn’t watch these wildlife programmes.

    Poldark back soon ???

Knew Troy would be bad.  Don't watch Poldark - had my fill in the original series decades ago.  Watched Collateral but won't be watching any more.  Don't care what happens to any of those characters.

We like Shetland but goodness it's a bleak place.

OH is glued to the Olympics this week so just as well that the weather is hopeless for gardening as we have a huge list of jobs to get thru and I'd be getting frustrated.

I think OH liked Troy, he likes anything historical, but I thought it was rather poor and badly acted. Could have been so much better, sort of amateurish.
