Last night watched the 1st episode of last Tango In Halifax, i thought a bit too far fetched to go and move like that, from a good home, into that run down cottage. I won't watch the next one.
I fell asleep before end of episode 2 of Last Tango (not a reflection of it's quality!) so will IPlayer it in bed later. Supervet was good too.
Currently into the Sherlock Holmes-inspired series Elementary - love crime/mystery/thrillers but the characters need to be interesting/intriguing. Only on series one but recommend.
AuntyRach: Which channel was Supervet on please? I will see if I can watch it as catch up. And Elementary? Never heard of it. Never keen on murder series unless they are real crimes .. Pains me to see the blood and lives taken .. but watched Modus on iplayer and enjoyed the twist. ..
I always fall asleep on good programmes as I want to concentrate on the narrative and because of that, I fall asleep, even on some of David Attenborough's programmes..
Aym, that's nice. That's good about the TV programmes. Well in august bracken was diagnosed with leukaemia, he's on chemotherapy tablets and steroids. It was getting under control until a month ago, when the white blood cells went up again, over 15. He's alright in himself thanks to the chemo, so the vet put the tablets up from 2 up to 3. Had blood test yesterday and it hasn't gone up, so keep him on 3 tablets. Have another test at the end of January. There's no side effects from the chemo tablets but the steroids make him drink a bit more
Aym, thanks. There's no side effects with chemo and dogs. And there human tablets, get a prescription from the vet and take it to the chemist.I'm afraid it won't cure him, it just keep it down, but he feels better. But it's worth it, the way that he picked up. Good thing that he's insured, but we have to pay the first £28.00 a month when we claim. It's a life time policy from petplan.
How old is your son? Why is he scared of the hair dresser?
I've got a son from my first marriage, he's 36 now, but when he was 21 he disided to leave home because he didn't get on with his step father. He stayed with his friend for a while but had to get a bed sit. It hadn't been easy for him, until he moved back to Worcester where we used to live before I remarried. They treat homeless better there. He's doing a lot better now, he's got a job that he likes.
Hi aym, how are you? Didn't realize that you had X-ray today, how did it go? ??We finished our food shop today and by normal French standards, it went quite quick?....maybe they all went beginning of week or we have been lucky to miss them hitting the town tomorrow. made a video this afternoon then cut hubbies hair....(al do mine tomorrow). Last of the parsnips picked from garden today also as well as some lettuce and a tiny amount of broccoli heads....(others not ready)!

Aym, it's that difficult age for son's.
Yes insurance is important for dogs.
