Gorgeous Patsy.  I've always wanted a spindle tree, but don't have the right location for one at present...I'm getting very tempted though!

I've been taking a few this afternoon - Euphorbia Fen's Ruby , Tiarella Cygnet, Cotoneaster,  Clematis Constance and Euphorbia - martinii ( I think)

Still plenty of flowers to go with the foliage - Mahonia Winter Sun, Actea purpurea, Cornflower Black Ball and Verbena bonariensis

Acers colouring up nicely, but soon it'll all be gone for another year.  Bittersweet eh?

    Beautiful photos K on G.

Is the Leonotis tender though? It's a terrific colour. Same here Joyce - not familiar with it at all.

I haven't seen that Euonymous before either Patsy - it's really lovely.

Love those pix too Lesley - it's been a lovely day here today. I was thinking that yesterday as I drove home - all the trees are just stunning at the moment.

I have Acer envy Pete8. The Leonotis is not hardy so now in the greenhouse.
