Lovely photos - the Callicarpa's beautiful, and the fallen leaves at Fyvie just make you want to go and kick them! image

Love that shrub BL-the red one of your daughter's. Not familiar with it at all.

There's an acer along the road from me which is glorious just now. Unfortunately, the owners haven't given it room to show itself off.

I'll have to get out and take some photos before all the foliage goes completely. I miss the big maple I had at the gate of a previous garden. It was glorious at this time of year.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Such stunning photo's on this thread ? Thanks to all who've shared their images.

I love Chrissy's "honey glazed" Hosta and vibrant blue berry pics ?

Fabulous pics of canopy & carpet MU ?? (were you tempted to kick them all up in the air like fairy?)

Took a few before the rain came back on after work.

I have a lot of evergreens so autumnal colour is slightly thin on the ground.

  • HI All, some wonderful colours that warm the heart.  I have added a couple of pics of a miscanthus that has some really good colour this year.  Perhaps it's a result from the drier weather we have had?

This photo was taken in my brother's garden, our mother (now deceased) planted it 30 years ago. It's the Guelder Rose "Viburnum Opulus"
