I take it you meant Siskins as well LP...or were they in a 'chapel'.....
Lovely woodies. Haven't had any here, but I hear them over in the woodland and the NT garden
Haven't seen a siskin in this garden (yet) but I came back from work and filled up the cage feeder, and a few minutes later ...these arrived....
The robin looked a bit perturbed, but they went in and a little feed together, and flew off again. We used to get them quite regularly round the corner, but it's the first time I've seen any in this garden. I'm stupidly thrilled - they're one of my favourite birds.
As Mr Costner said - 'if you build it...they will come'
Mr and Mrs Oddbod were in for a little meal together too

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Me too, Fairy. We can see the feeders from our bed, which is lovely first thing in the morning!
We've had one nuthatch visiting regularly, but had never seen two together before, so I'm hoping there's a nest being started somewhere nearby... One seemed a bit bigger than the other, which surprised me.
In my turn, I'm complacent about our long-tailed tits. After blue and great tits they are our most numerous and regular visitors this time of year.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Apparently the nutties don't go far from where they're born, so I assume mine have possibly been born in and around the nearby woodland or NT garden. It's just lovely to have them, and they've really made themselves at home. They've visited together pretty much from the start. Hopefully your two will nest close by and you'll see them regularly
The long tails are great to watch. We used to love seeing a little flock of them arrive in the other garden.
This garden was so sterile when I moved in and now it's 'bird central'. Very satisfying!

We are enjoying the visits of perhaps not such exciting birds as you are, but still plentiful, now that I am constantly on topping up duty with the array of feeders we now have. The neighbours cat is still recovering from his op so whilst the cat's away the birds .........
I just hope we don't regret enticing more birds into the garden when killer cat is eventually let out into the garden again.
I was sitting in bed yesterday morning with a mug of coffee, watching some things falling, one after the other into our neighbour's garden................ then I saw the blackbird hurling lumps of moss from the gutter and rooftiles in the search for bugs and grubs
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

It is indeed, Fairy...
Today's "special" was 2 nuthatches together on the sunflower hearts, for the first time.
Fab Liri
I've got so used to my nuthatches, I've become quiet complacent about them now
They're really beautiful little birds, and special because they're not common up here. The long tailed tits are unbearably cute though!
To be honest, it's such a pleasure watching any of the birds that visit. I thoroughly enjoy spending a few minutes at the window when I can
