I'm currently at a music festival in Finland, and it's tipping it down.  Yesterday was gorgeous though, and the weather is supposed to be improving...  it's definitely still spring here, with some shrubs and trees just coming into leaf, and tulips still flowering.  They've had frosts regularly until the beginning of this week, but their summers are hot, if short.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • It was dry all day here until approx. 4 p.m. then some rain showers, but dryer now.

Lovely Busy - hope you like the heat?

18, cloudy with some sun but windy here in South Wales. I hear it will be warming up this week (not to 30 though!)

No, Aunty Rach, I don't like the heat. I like the early 20s and a bit of rain from time to time. SW France is too hot in summer and too cold in winter for me. Wasn't my choice though.

I would wilt and come out in a rash at 30 degrees! It is fascinating that humans can only really function in a small temperature range and extremes are actually dangerous.

Few days of fierce gusty winds and more to come. Really fed up as garden being blown to bits just as we had finished a complete overhaul and plants starting to grow nicely. image

  • Dry, windy and sunny, not good for sitting on the beach but great for walking. I wouldn't like 30 degrees either - too hot to be energetic - I would wilt in the heat.
