It was a lovely sunny morning but sky has gone grey . . . rain coming?

    SW Scotland
  • Rain last night - just enough to give everything a soaking.  Dull, mild and virtually no wind now.  Hope it stays dry for the next few days.

A bit overcast but sun keeps coming out , ok as working outside image

  • Don't fret Palaisglide - we can all fall in love, (however old or jagged we may look) - with the weather, the beauty around us, life in general - whatever floats your boat.

It's a beautiful day here after a shaky start - blue, blue sky and full sun.

We had lunch in the garden today, first time this year. About 15° but warm in the sun.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Lunch in the garden reminds me of my childhood - I would rush home from school (1 1/4 hours for lunch) , mum & dad would have everything ready on the top lawn, so we could enjoy maximum time together.  No tuperware or plastic crockery in those days, so the tray was heavily laden with all we would need. Happy days.

I am sure you would have appreciated your first lunch of the year Busy - such a treat in April.
