Sleet earlier on here in Cheshire but just grey and miserable now. Me and OH will go to our local garden centre later on and claim our free potatoes as offered in my Gardeners' World mag. That should cheer me up, also need some broad bean seeds and some compost. I think I may have a two for one token for afternoon tea somewhere. The day can only get better!
Very interesting photos Johnny. I googled the floods in Calgary in 2013 as you suggested and it certainly was a frightening time. The city in your pics looks fantastic though.
Such thick ice on our small pond & bird bath, stiff white grass and washing, but such a gloriously sunny day again, no wind - I guess we will have another frosty night tonight.

Nothing like a bright winter's day (plus bacon sarnie) to make you happy, Scroggin...
Grey, cold, misty and intermittently snowing here. But yes, life is good!
Good evening , heavy frost overnight , sun came out so went to allotment as planned , only 1 degree but rose to 3 - Lincoln
G/H went down to -3.9 last night with heater on
Nice pictures Johnny C

Lovely sunny day here - 8 degrees but slight ground frost last night again. No wind, just beautifully calm and sunny here.
Still foggy here; forecast predicted it would be lifting by now...
