  • 7:30am and -23C. The deep freeze continues.......

  • After the rain came the sun, sunshine all day here and no watering to do - yipeeeeee. A steady 10 degrees, but warmer in the sunshine - over 20 in our little conservatory/greenhouse, very pleasant indeed. I really feel for you Johnny -23C is no joke and a few more months of winter weather before us too.

  • Oh yes, having icicles clinging onto my nose hairs and mustache is a part of my winter here.

-18C right now but the forecast for Monday is +7!! Chinook is on it's way!

Had several -5°s recently with frosts but days have been quite sunny.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • That sounds hopeful Johnny, you will have to tell us if the temperature actually does rise to a balmy +7 degrees on Monday.

Dull here today, with a little rain at lunch time, it would be nice to see the sun again pretty soon.

  • It's been a bit misty here in the Pennines for the past few days, but mild.  Really muddy in our lane...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
