Apparently there was a frost early this morning.  Now we have a fairly still day with light grey clouds.  Nothing exciting, thank goodness.  Sewing for me today.  Sowing next week.

I haven't been down to the river in several days to feed birds. Today's the day, just figuring out in my mind what to wear and how many layers to wear.

Johnny, the birds will have missed you.

It will be a bit chilly out on your bike in that temperature.

  • We complain about the lack of sunshine here - just 33 hours so far this month and yet comparing with your temperatures we are so lucky. 12 degrees today dropping to around 5 tonight.  No wind and a few hours of sunshine today - hurray!

The gales and rain are forecast to come back tonight and continuing over the w/end.

  • Hard frost lingered all day here bright sunshine though. Freezing again tonight.
