Stockton had white lawns today an overnight ground frost. It is bright as it has been over the festive period, sunshine part of each day whilst round about got some serious weather, sweeping weather reports never seem to cover us with one foot in the North Sea. This was the first Christmas I never made it to a beach for a refreshing walk, I missed doing that.

Good morning , it snowed over night , light covering but cold , still in Swindon

Going home tomorrow through the Cotswold , could be fun if any more snow ❄️ comes

My son and his wife are off home today and I can see from his I-phone it has been snowing on the M5. No snow here inCheshire. It is usually colder here than where they live in the Midlands, so that makes a change. I wish them a safe journey home.

We've had yet more rain in the last few days. Howling gale now and rain in the night.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Yes a howling gale here too Busy. Last night was horrendous, and today is not much better although at least it isn't raining anymore and the wind has dried the surface soil and the grass.
