Forgotten what the sun looks like! Misty, damp though not too chilly. Everyone seems to have a cold or cough here in the north west. I think I would like to go to the canaries or anywhere that is bright and sunny. Happy Christmas everyone!
-12C right now. Over 12 inches 0f snow fell last night, so I started shoveling snow a 6am and finished at 1pm. Stiff all over because there has ben no snow for weeks and I got out of shape. lol
Don't overdo it Johnny, I believe shovelling snow can be quite dangerous in Canada as you have such a lot of it to shift and it is easy to overtax your body. We are so wimpy here everything closes down at the first snowfall, schools, trains, buses, aircraft, all come to a standstill!
We have had a huge amount of rain in Dordogne in the last 3 weeks. The river in the village rose alarmingly. On the rare days it hasn't rained it's been cold and frosty, down to -5°.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
No such drama here, no snow, ice, frost or rain - no sun either, in fact quite dull and damp, with 12 degrees on the outdoor thermometer today. If we are going to get any really cold weather it will come in the first two months of 2018.

Stockton, The sun decided to smile on me and is shining in through the South facing window lighting up the room, must have done something right then.
Frank.
Virtually no sun, but luckily not misty or foggy either which was the predicted weather. No wind, just dull and grey and a balmy 12 degrees here.
