GWRS, My best mate for the first years in the Army was Brummy Norton from Smethwick, I don't think he had seen a live cow in his life. I had a regular run into Aston British Gas Depot at one time, on the edge but still well built over.

The weather front never did reach Stockton dull all day though better forecast for tomorrow.

    Frank.

Stockton,. Usual North Sea Weather, Wet and miserable up to 13:00 Hours then just miserable for the rest of the day. Reminds me of when I sang in the School production of the Mikado.

The flowers that bloom in the Spring tra la just cannot arrive soon enough, Northern winds that freeze my old bones tra la followed by frozen white stuff tra la makes me all grumbly and gruff, and that's what I mean when I say and I sing, please bring back the flowers that bloom in the spring (a lot of tra la's) the flowers that bloom in the spring.

Indian summer here.  24C yesterday pm and sunshine all day with hardly any breeze.   Just enough cloud around to make a rosy sunset.   Looks like the same again today but a bit warmer.

Love it but would also love some rain.  My gardening "to do" list is on hold because it's so dry.

Nice and sunny , with a cold wind , off to watch Lincoln City soon ⚽️

  • I would like to say that we are experiencing an Indian summer here too Obelixx but from what I heard on Radio 4 a couple of days ago we can't call it an Indian summer until there has been a first frost - which I had never heard before, did anyone else know that?

Glorious sunshine here - all day with very little rain, so I feel for you Frank as there is nothing miserable about the weather here today or for the past few days either.  Does that mean we will get a miserable winter perhaps?  The temperature here is well in the lower 20's which is just fine for me.

Stockton on Tees, the misery yesterday suddenly left as so often happens on the Coast we had a change of weather to sunshine. I had a house full of visitors and a dog who was enjoying herself in the garden, with a very depleted larder and fridge we come to today.

Sunshine, azure sky's, gentle breeze and warm. Do not question it Frank just enjoy, "Yup" I will.

A bit dull and a little drizzle driving down to Swindon , then the sun came out a nice evening image

  • Mild, hazy and sunny today, but rain and wind by tonight - I wonder what tomorrow will bring for us?

I have prepared the garden here in Cheshire as we are expecting wind and rain, later on today so hopefully nothing will blow about. I have tidied up and removed my planters off the wall and now we will wait and see!
