I get a lot of mossy bites.
I've used Jungle Formula many times when I've been on hols to Thailand and I don't think I've ever been bitten when I've got it on. Highly recommend it
Billericay - Essex
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Keep ASS by the back door. Never go in garden without it. Not been bitten since using it
The trouble with Jungle formula is it has a good few nasties in it that I would not be wanting to apply to my skin or breath in.
But I have used it years ago and it did work for me but I won't be using it any more now I've discovered Avon's Skin So Soft.
150ml Avon's Skin So Soft roughly £2.00 (More or less Natural Ingredients)
150ml of Jungle Formula roughly £9.99 (A lot of nasty Ingredients)
Iv'e used Avon's Skin So Soft in:
Canada, Alaska, Svalbard, Scotland, the lakes, France, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique
Can't fault it.
Quite like the name "cosmopolitan compost" I might use that when I need a login name next!
I crawl and slither out of my pot occasionaly
Never buzzed, flied or whizzed before! I'll have to practice at this.
I've been known to growl, grumble and grunt before though
Witch hazel or aloe vera gel AND DON'T SCRATCH!!!
Antihistamine cream doesn't work for me. The tablets do - until you have alcohol and then they stop working within 15mins
Aloe Vera works best if you haven't scratched. If you must scratch, do it a couple of inches away from the bite. It's almost as satisfying.
The nurses and I were having this conversation when I gave blood last week - I react quite badly to bites, so they were checking I didn't have chicken pox or something! There seem to be loads around this year
We came up with...
Hang around someone more attractive to them than you are. My OH and son never get bitten, my daughter and I are plagued.
Avoid perfume and hairspray, etc. I'd heard this a few times before - except Avon SSS apparently
- which one do I need CC? I have the book out now and there's three kinds!
Citronella candles (not sure how practical this would be every day!).
