Where in the world are you?
Hi as I'm new here and have been reading what you are all up to I was wondering where everybody does their gardening and how often. I'll go first. I'm in the great 2nd city of Birmingham. I work 3 days a week so spend as much of my spare time as I can either in my garden or at my allotment. Unfortunately the latter has been a bit neglected this year due to a house movie at Christmas. Hopefully will still have onions and potatoes to store and then I can get back on track next year. SF

Hi Simply Flowers. I'm in East Hertfordshire, early retired for 4 years and garden as much as I can inbetween looking after grandchildren.
In Sheffield, lost my allotment when I moved here, but growing a fair bit in the garden

Wonderful Sheffield, as well.
Right on the edge of the Peak District National park.
Can be very snowy in winter, especially as 700 feet up.
When you don't even know who's in the team

Hello and welcome Simply Flowers
I'm gardening in Manchester.
Just a quick tip, if you click on a forum members name (in pink) or avatar pic you are shown their biography page. I've put my location and a few details in mine, a quick nosey shows me that Nanniemo and Anne 17 have done the same (regarding location).
I would encourage everyone to put at least a bit of basic info on their bio, a simple north/south/east or west would be helpful, especially if you're asking for plant advice.
I saw your garden photos when I clicked on yours, you've made a real change in a short space of time in your new garden and it's looking lovely, well done
. My garden is a similar size and I enjoy a little potter about most days.........
(as long as it's not raining)
Hello, I'm in SW France, Dordogne. Making an English style garden here with perennials and roses can be a challenge! Hot in summer, cold in winter. Limestone. I have joined a scheme like the NGS and have opened my garden to the public.
