I have met both brothers and I have no doubt that not just every bone in their body but every nucleus of every one of their body cells is immutably ambitious. Watch "this" space!
"... The Environmental Secretary said he had "taken action in a wide variety of areas", pointing out that the Government has already bannedmicrobeards ."
Your immutable nuclei reminded me of my daughter and her first Medical School interview experience.
She was 17 and rather nervous about her first interview at Guy's Hospital, London. For several days, she and I practised "interviews" using questions that were related to "hot" medical issues: heart disease, lung disease, diabetes etc.
When I’d suggested AIDS, she responded with a mild shock. "That's got to do with sex! I'm only 17, they won't ask me THAT! And wouldn't even contemplate the possibility, despite my efforts to convince her otherwise.
I took her there on the day and when she was called in, I went to one of the hospital cafeterias, where we'd arranged to meet after the ordeal.
The first thing she said when she met me was, "They asked me about AIDS!"
She then elaborated, "They asked why has no vaccine been formulated yet against it. I replied, because the virus keeps mutating. They then asked me, why is it mutating? I told them because it tries to survive (!!!!)"
Whereupon, the chief examiner, who had the same surname and first name initial with my daughter(!), burst out laughing and remarked, "So, it's a conscious decision on the part of the virus to mutate!"
My daughter wasn't going to ignore his hysterical laughter, so she told him, "It's evolution; that's how it works!"
He didn't quite apologise for offending her, but he did explain that it was mutating because of its unstable nucleus.
I love your young daughter's backbone, Phaidra! Nothing like telling an interviewing panel of, I assume, medics, how evolution works and affects our lives!
We went to the last performance of our local church's Christmas pantomime earlier, which was full of bright, spirited and talented young people. They acted, cracked jokes and sang delightfully. Thoroughly enjoyable, despite the fact that the season of While Shepherds Watched their Flocks could've been considered over. In that Hall, it wasn't!
Food blogger Monroe, who identifies as gender non-binary, was awarded £24,000 in damages and £107,000 in court costs. Monroe said that the court costs will be going towards legal fees.”

And then, he offered her a place!
