Would a fox have done this?

Found it in a B&Q carpark yesterday morning, also there was another severely injured feral pigeon close by that didn't look like it was going to make it.

So, popped inside B&Q and asked them to call the RSPCA to see if they would send someone out to deal with the injured bird.

Sorry for the graphic images on a lovely Sunday morning.

The first is an amazing image, worthy of a competition entry.

Another Hummingbird Hawkmoth through the garden this morning but no camera handy unfortunately. Amazing how precise they are when moving from one plant to another, like they've planned it all out in advance.

I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful

I saw two hummingbird moths this evening. The first I've seen for years :)  Too dark to bother with even trying for photos though.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I found this caterpillar yesterday. Any ideas what it is?  :)

I have also seen a hummingbird hawkmoth this morning. I had never seen one until this year and now I’ve seen 4. It must be a very good year for them.
