Found it in a B&Q carpark yesterday morning, also there was another severely injured feral pigeon close by that didn't look like it was going to make it.
So, popped inside B&Q and asked them to call the RSPCA to see if they would send someone out to deal with the injured bird.
Sorry for the graphic images on a lovely Sunday morning.
Another Hummingbird Hawkmoth through the garden this morning but no camera handy unfortunately. Amazing how precise they are when moving from one plant to another, like they've planned it all out in advance.
Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border. I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful
A lizard enjoying the rock pile in the garden this afternoon. I'd love to pretend that it's an intentional habitat feature but it's just a pile of rocks I haven't got around to stacking into a wall shape yet.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I have also seen a hummingbird hawkmoth this morning. I had never seen one until this year and now I’ve seen 4. It must be a very good year for them.
Failure is always an option.
