@fidgetbones - it's impressive for a fox to make a dead jump and catch an apple in a tree, first time, in the pitch black!   1'.58''

Lot of light pollution around, and nearly on a full moon.   There's a lot goes on in the dark in my garden.  I expect them to start climbing the big James Grieve tree. I've stripped off all the cox on the tree you can see, and the low hanging James Grieves.

My first slow worm sighting! I disturbed him while watering the garden. So exciting!

's sake @BobTheGardener. Don't do yourself an injury either!
    Lovely pic @HalleS  :)
We've had very few Red Admirals this year, and they've been even later than normal, but they love the Acteas

However, Dave is gradually becoming 'not wildlife'...

There's a couple of others who are terrible bullies, and the neighbour across the road who has feeders with cheap crappy stuff that they normally invade, is away on holiday. Didn't take Dave long to realise he could sneak in the kitchen instead.  :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • 😂 @Fairygirl that's so funny! And he stayed for a picture too!

  • Terrible picture but they move very fast! Hummingbird hawk mouth today 😀
