    @diggersjo No carnivorous/omnivorous wildlife is cute when it's eating another animal but not much anyone can do about it 🤷‍♀️

    @Sheps You're welcome 😁
  • It is originally from Morocco, but has been rapidly spreading across Europe, reaching Bournemouth in 1957 and Scotland in 2000.

    Some recent vids on harvestmen Leiobunum sp.A in the UK:

    There are over 6000 species of harvestmen currently recorded globably. There are likely to be many thousands more extant. They are an unsung feature of the arachnid world.

    I had one on the wall of my sunroom the summer I moved here nine years ago. It was a straight line with a bump in the middle and I had to look really close to distinguish the legs. Haven't seen one since but it made quite an impression. 🤓

    That's a serious beast @Liriodendron. Those legs would challenge Cyd Charisse  :D
    I was thrilled to get a photo of this a couple of days ago. Couldn't get close enough, and the clem foliage was in the way, but we don't see them here normally

    Deadheading the Ipomoea - and this was sitting nicely. Not sure what he is so maybe @wild edges could help me out  :)

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    It's a Silver Y @Fairygirl one you never forget as its name is written on its wings.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    That's great - thanks @wild edges  :)
    I'll label the pic so I don't forget....
