I have moved from a digital stills camera to a movie camera, still learning how to use the camera and do the editing, hope you like it. Duck Pond - YouTube
I was just treated to an amazing show by the fox trying to catch one of the dozen grey squirrels that show up for my crow food (soaked cat kibble and a fruit/seed/nut mix). It was cold enough last night that there is a solid crust on the snowpack and he was able to just race across it. He didn't catch one, but he hung around for a while snacking on the kibble.

Driving through the outskirts of Reading this afternoon, I had a very close encounter with a Red Kite, there must have been some carion/ discarded food in the road. It came along the road about 10ft up then swooped down between me and the car in front before flying off with it's prize I've often seen them scouring the verges, but never so close as this.
Happiest Animal on Earth - yes really it’s a Quokka. Just come back from 5 weeks with our daughter in Mandurah, Perth Australia. My birthday treat was a visit to Rottnest Island to see them in their natural habitat. Free and happy , very tame eating native grasses, stems and barks of a variety of plants. Survival due to no natural predators. Wandering under trees as we walked around the Island, amazing!
We had a competition who could take the best close-up for a bit of fun to win 10$ (my hubbys idea) and Grandaughter won !! Enjoy nature at its best I think .
