    Cranes over Luxembourg. I was feeling miserable for myself last night as I couldn't sleep: then I heard them! Safe journey south, you wonderful birds!!  How do they do it? At night? Weather not that good either.

    Really pleased to see 3 Red Kites over the local fields in Kent, they're becoming regular visitors now. ☺️

  • Amazingly, today I've seen two hummingbirds, never seen before, and never realised they are so astonishingly small. This is a very poor photo, but in reality it was amazing.

    I don't think Hummingbirds exist anywhere in Europe @D0rdogne_Damsel. I'm guessing they must have been moths. But lovely to see anyway  :)

    I think @D0rdogne_Damsel means a Hummingbird Hawk Moth. They are lovely and still active.
