Aww thank you. The wall is actually the back of garages for our street.
yes. I have some large stones I use as decoration and I wedge my iPhone between the two stones and leave it on record. Normally 15 mins is more than enough to capture my garden birds.
I know what you mean about rats. They is a rat living next door so I only put out enough food that I know will be ate by the end of the day. It’s challenging as my left neighbor garden is completely overgrown. Heartbreaking as the bones of the garden show how beautiful it used to me along with a pond
my right hand side neighbor built a garden office but didn’t put any proper flooring down so the rat runs under there.
I am pretty lucky as the magpies regularly attack the rat so doesn’t cause much bother and we have two resident foxes also.
I posted my otter sighting at the end of October and I was back on the same stretch of river yesterday so kept an eye out for it. No luck sadly but I did find lots of bits of crayfish that had been munched. Check out the size of that one claw They're the invasive type but with an otter on the case the ecosystem might stay in some kind of balance. Hopefully the fishermen who hate otters will understand that controlling the crayfish will actually help fish stocks.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
For good? Oh no. I did not realise. I thought there was a problem with finding locations for filming, or something like that. All kinds of things happen with the natural world in Autumn that are specific to that season. Seems a retrograde step to remove the programme for good. What a shame.
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus
Three pairs of bullfinches in the garden this morning. I can't remember the last time I've seen six together. I did my Big Garden Bird Watch yesterday so it's just my luck that we get more birds today.
Anyway, we had a walk in the woods yesterday and I got some very distant views of a group of Crossbills munching Larch cones.
