Visited an NGS garden in Frensham Surrey today. Chatted with the gardener - it is all her own efforts, no paid help. It was absolutely packed full of plants - gorgeous
Just found this thread. Tried the search for gardens we've visited, but it wouldn't do it in date order so I didn't have much luck. Thank for sending the links for my visit to East Ruston and the Helmingham Hall one.
There are some other gardens on different threads, but I'm a bit at sea now the forum has changed.
I will have some more photos, but now I'm going to bed.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Lovely pictures chicky
. I loved every pic with a water feature, whether large or small. Maybe something to think about here

And what a way to hide the compost bins and wheelbarrows:
That's lovely, Chicky. Not a lot of bare soil showing... she must spend every spare minute in her garden!

And another one - http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/the-potting-shed/garden-visits/983648.html/ it has 5 or 6 garden visits on it, including Great Dixter, Sissinghurst, Beth Chatto, Harlow Carr and my visit to Houghton Hall in Norfolk.
So it's well worth a look.
