    I love those felted Animals,and the beautiful colours in the wool. Ive never seen fleece being spun into wool,it must be fascinating.

  • Thank you for your kind words @Valley Gardener ... yes, spinning is a fascinating and rewarding hobby. The process of producing handspun yarn is fairly long and involved. After removing the undesirable parts of a fleece it is then hand washed. Next it is carded or combed before spinning. Once spun, the yarn needs to be plied then made into a skein ready for dyeing, if needed ... or, of course a spinner could just buy commercially processed fibre - easier, but less rewarding! 😊

  • We don't have a telly, either @Valley Gardener ... we have been married for 44 years and never felt the need to get one! 🤷🏼‍♀️
