Even tabletop come in various sizes, so depends a lot on personal choice, also whether you want it to be static or able to be easily folded away etc. I would suggest having a look online at the different options.
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

I have a small folding table which Hubby bought on line somewhere, but I don’t use it as it’s meant to be. It seems to be the dumping ground for tv programs etc. 🙄

I’ve been knitting again, making wrist warmers and fingerless gloves to donate to the homeless. I’m told that the large supply I sent a couple of months ago, were very popular. We had minus 6.4c this morning! Freezing.

  • I have just finished knitting a Floppsy Bunny for my great great neice, due in August. I am struggling to put a face on her which does not look scary! I didn't want to use sew on eyes and nose etc. in case tiny fingers picked them off and were swallowed. The yarn is fluffy so embroidering features is not easy.

@Joyce Goldenlily.  My grandsons pet rat ate the face off his favourite knitted teddy,I managed to match the wool, and bought black felt for the eyes. The originals were oval shaped. So I gave the eyes to him,and told him to place them on the face till it looked right!
Rule of thumb is wide apart eyes, and a high nose for a cute look,if the eyes are too close together he will look cross,a bit like Prince Charles!

@Valley Gardener.  Personally I would choose the second one as he seems to have more character with quite a cheeky look.  :)
  • Thank you both for your ideas.

I have been playing around with black buttons to get the placement right. Originally I was going to give Flopsy some fetching long eyelashes, Jessica Rabbit style, but that idea has already gone out of the window. I had thought of felt but wondered if it might get sucked off, although a little bit of felt is not going to hurt a baby's tummy. I have decided to take Flopsy to the local market where there is a haberdashery stall and see what they have. Decisions, decisions!
Many moons ago now, I knitted my son a Larry the Lamb hand puppet which he adored, I must try and find the pattern on line and make one for the new baby. Interestingly, I noticed he didn't like furry things near his face. He used to screw up his face and spit, then he would throw whatever it was away. His most favourite toy was a stuffed white towelling lamb given to him when he was born.

Very impressive Shepherds Barn.  I’ve got lots of angora fleece that needs spinning.  Pity you aren’t near me in Australia.
