I’ve started a knitted beanie from a new pattern. It’s looking ok, but such an effort. Size needles 5.5 and 6.5mm and double strands of 8 ply yarn. Here’s a photo of what I’ve done so far.
I think my arms and shoulders will be glad of a break. 🙄😂😂
Its lovely Pat,very warm for your ears too. I did this from a 1978 Stitchcraft mag, given to me by Fran IOM. Thought my baby knitting days were over,so had no patterns. Baby, great grandchild due in 2 weeks.
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
I really like that set Valley G. It’ll be very snug, I imagine.
And, thanks for your comments. In case you’re interested, I’ve a fun pattern from a few years ago that I knitted for a friend. I’ll post a photo when I can find it.
@Pat E Your knitting is so good. Beanies and fingerless gloves - so well done and I love the wee crocheted Magic Roundabout figurines @SherwoodArrow. I have a jersey to finish, so it really gets me motivated to pick up the knitting needles!!
I'm not very good at painting like @Valley Gardener and @Fire but I have finished my seeds bags to give away as Christmas presents. First attempt so maybe this winter, I could try some more. Here are a couple of photos.
