They look like great fun Pat. I'm an amateur/beginner knitter tho so will stick with my facecloth "socks" for Cosmos. They're working well and his paw is already looking better. He even took his meds without too much of a struggle this morning.

Glad you like them. I made the pattern up myself. You can make them longer or shorted, or wider or narrower. The first couple I knitted, I sewed them up and then tried to make faces and hair on them. Talk about awkward! The trouble with trying to sew on them inside out, is that you can’t quite work out where to put the eyes and mouth. I learned quickly.
I sympathise with trying to give cat medications. I didn’t ever manage it with my old tortoiseshell.
Love the colours and pattern Lyn. I've only ever used a crochet hook with yarn the once several decades ago. Not for me. Good for doing highlights on hair though!
Pat - the trick for me is to crush the pill to a powder on a piece of paper then pour it into the fat end of a syringe, add a bit of water and shake then squirt it down kitty's throat while OH holds him. Very quick and no spitting out. With the dogs I hide them in fresh mince or some cheese.

Joyce, yes, originally I tried to make with them Olive in mind. I’m told she loves the two I sent to her and that she tells wonderful stories with them. Since then I’ve passed some to the little gallery that I volunteer at. They sold like hot cakes.

I’ve just made the Ross Poldark blanket. Was supposed to be my winter project but couldn’t wait.
That's beautiful Lyn. Winter warmth
Pat, are the finger puppets for the little girl that you have made things for before?
