Sorry...I should have mentioned I planted poached eggs, alyssum snow carpet and rudbekia in the same border.

unless I've totally mis-judged the scaled you've got hairy bittercress and an annual weed with blue flowers whose name escapes me for the moment

No ivy or any  garden plant

on close inspection I can see some seedlings there, one might be the poached eggs but too small on the screen to be sure. Get the weeds out and see how things develop, or do a close up of the seedlings if you can do close ups image I can'timage

The first pic is about 5cm tall..and the third pic is about 30 cm long. Which is the hairy bitter cress? And should I pull them up?

The hairy bittercress is the top pic, its seeds shoot everywhere, I can see seed pods,

The blue is a speedwell, Veronica agrestis probably, both prolific seeders, annual weeds, very common, unlikely to find a garden without them. get 'em outimage

    yes, I think that's a poached egg

Bottom two are ivy leaved toadflax (I think) and the top one is a common garden weed whose name escapes me at the moment.

Bittercress is the name that had escaped me. Things eventually come round in the carousel I have for a brain these days!
