I'm back from the anniversary party. Lovely sunny day, high time we had one. Great food, all homemade, Champagne, elderflower for the drivers, lunch in the garden, about 30 of us, mostly people I know. I love get-togethers like that as distances in France are so big it's not always possible to see people you'd like to see.
Lovely paintings Pat, you are very talented.
I hope Mr KEF isn't feeling too bruised and battered.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Joyce - Stob Dearg is such an iconic image that it looks wonderful at almost time of year doesn't it? I was lucky - it was a day like today when I did the ridge, but I had the shade going up the corrie and a nice breeze up top!
I'm off to sort some of yesterday's pix for the camera thread. Got some good ones of the deer I startled....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Sorry, but I need to unload on someone, and you are such a nice bunch I felt that you would lend a listening ear... just got back from the hospital after having my husband admitted for a heart problem. We were at his mum and dads when he just passed out-headbutted the floor in a very spectacular way. The in-laws are well in to their 80's, and he really frightened them.... me too.to be honest. Hopefully should get a bed...in the next 8 hours according to the doctor!!! It has left me..well, scared to be honest. We were waiting for an appointment for the specialist as this has happened before. He has atrial fibrulation, or something like that, but he hasn't been this ill before. Sorry, just needed to tell someone-trying to be calm in front of the in-laws, and son, but it is hard.

Farewell, lovely girl.
Daniel has posted but doesn't tell us anything other than it was a "cooling off period"
We still don't know what was the problem. If we don't know, I suppose any of us could be in the same position.
Afternoon all. What a bunch of chatters you've all been whilst I've been slogging it out at the coal face.
