Water, water, everywhere and not a drop to ....... Oh well, in case none of you know, the East Coast Low that was predicted has happened. We have had rain for 24 hours. Not heavy here, but very soaking wet. Haven't been out to check the rain gauge, but there are pools of water lying around wherever I look. Such a relief after months of almost no rain. There was flooding around Sydney when I last saw the TV last night, so I suppose there will be lots more news to catch up on.
having just woken up, I know I should get up soon, but can't find the incentive. Not much use being retired, if you can't have a lay-in on a wet morning.
2 hours until I can set up camp. I'm amusing myself by alternating looking at plants with looking at German Shepherd puppies and then looking at chicken coops...
Well said Clari! Me too and that's with five DJs in the basement beneath my pillow, just catered a birthday BBQ for one of them, with cake and all the bits from scratch, I'm crashing out! don't want to sleep through glorious gardening weather tomorrow! Half an hour til you can tucker down in that camp bed Clari!
I've been out to check the rain gauge and we've had 42mm, and it's still raining. It's even hitting the top of the veranda window up under the roof/awning. That's pretty amazing.
Have a good sleep Wonky, and Clari, I hope your night is ok.
