Morning all/afties Pat if you find the new thread too image

Trying to catch up before work. So sorry about your news chicky.  You've had a really bad time recently. Glad Dad is on the mend though. Love from us all here xxx

Hope you get some good news too Dove.

Got some potting on done after work yesterday, after getting fittings for the tap to connect the hose. I even watered the border near the house - we really need some rain. I think this warm, dry spell is just payback to make up for all the wet springs since time began....image

Hope everyone has as good a day  as possible  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Hubby was a teacher in a previous life. He says it is well known that kids go loopy when it is windy.

I believe the rate of heart attacks in the elderly goes up too. That sounds like a good enough excuse for all those ove r  27 to stay in and keep warm.

Fidget: Years ago the classroom assistant at my daughters primary school said she wasn't looking forward to playtime. "Why?" I asked "it's not rainy, they can have a run around outside."

She replied "I wish it was rainy, they're ok cooped up in the hall, but are uncontrollable on a windy playground." image

    Morning all.

I'm sorry about your aunt, Dove and Wonky. (((Hugs)))

Going to daughter 2 soon to clean the floors of her her new house before they move in as I have a floor polisher and a carpet shampooer.

    Still raining.

    Morning all.

Just leave the rain over in the East for a change( apart from Fairy's garden ). I've got lots to do before the VIPs arrive tomorrow evening.

The weather is perfect for me today. Dry, not sunny and not too warm. I'm still moving stuff around ( just as well my plants can't read the books )

Hope you get better news this morning Dove.

    Devon.

Dove for you, you really are having a time of it at the moment.

Morning all dull and dour here but it is at least dry. I always found full moons to be silly season whether it was kids or adults.Right coffee time

Thanks for all the hugs folks image  No further news of Aunty B ...

Am going to try to take it easy today as we'll be off at first light tomorrow - just got to pack and leave things (hedgehog food, hosepipe etc) ready for neighbour.  OH has set off on his bike as he saw a nice shirt and some shoes yesterday but didn't get them - he has pondered and is going back to buy them.

Hosta, don't go overboard .... we are only minor royalty imageimage
