Tootles, course it could be a scam, I like to think the best of people, a young chap last summer, asked for money, said he was sleeping rough, I gave him a couple of quid, and said I would like to think he was genuine, but if he wasnt it was for his conscience, because I firmly believe what goes around comes around. I know certain european nationalities, "use" kids for begging, quite a few of the homeless folk round here have dogs. Unless it is a life choice, I really dont think anyone should be homeless in GB today, it depresses and saddens me. Especially when we have so many empty properties, and give foreign aid, (which then goes to the despots and not the people who need it) Who couldnt help fall for a cute kitten.
The man with the kitten was there today. I bought a load of tobacco and offered to buy the kitten but he said no. Poor little thing. I hope he said no for the right reasons but sadly I don't think so.
Barley had the runs this morning, but he seems to be ok now. The breeder phoned today, puppies might be ready in June. Don't know if we'll have one yet, OH needs to make up his mind. To have one this year or next. I think it won't matter if we have one this year.
