I have a box exactly like that that I keep necklaces in.

Tigger's ashes are in an urn, I will be burying it in the garden, but at the moment it's where he used to have his bed by the stairs.

I keep pens and paper in my box like that but it was bought for necklaces.

I'm very sorry you've lost Bracken Logan.   He'll be a huge hole in your life but you'll be able to remember him fondly.

Have only just read your sad news about Bracken Logan.  So sorry for your loss.

I hope that your memories of the happy times spent in his company can give you comfort.

Your love of your dogs shines through in this lovely thread.

    Best wishes

Here's the latest labrador that we are looking after until a new home is found. He's a lovely massive brute of a dog, appropriately called Bear. I shall miss him when he's found a new home...

Leadfarmer, he's lovely. It must be very difficult for you when you've found a home for them.

Our last two labradors are also kept with us in the same way.

It can be very difficult, but we know from day one that they will soon leave us, and at least it means they have found a permanent home.

Another recent lab we looked after was called Lulu. She was a beauty and I really really fell for her in a big way. We tried to keep her but it was too late, she had already been allocated a new home...
